Celebrity British chef and owner of a group of restaurants Gary Rhodes died in Dubai. He was 59.
His family released a statement confirming his death on the evening of Tuesday, November 26. He died in Dubai with his wife Jennie by his side.
Rhodes was a popular face on British TV from the ’90s onwards, fronting a host of cooking shows. He is best known for hosting MasterChef, MasterChef USA, and Hell’s Kitchen.
In 2006 he received an OBE from the queen for his services to the hospitality industry. His family has thanked everyone for the support and has sought privacy at this hour.
