Jaish-e-Mohammad outfit terrorists are assumed to have entered Punjab via Pakistan border and could be on their way to New Delhi as per the Security Agency Inputs. In Lieu of safety and security Punjab, Haryana, Delhi is on High-Alert. The border with Pakistan is also under strict vigil.
The police is linking the terrorist mobility with a recent carjacking, which took place in Pathankot, Punjab.
On past Tuesday, the incident of carjacking an SUV got reported from Madhopur, Pathankot. The car driver Raj Kumar stopped the vehicle near Madhopur after one of the passengers complained of vomiting, police said. ‘The four occupants then snatched the vehicle from the driver at gunpoint and wheeled away’. The suspects, were speaking in Punjabi, and had booked the car from the Jammu taxi stand.
