In a shocking loot incident, a car belonging to Supreme Court lawyer was allegedly stolen in Noida in the busy hours on Wednesday.
According to police, the incident took place in the afternoon when the driver was waiting for lawyer’s daughter outside her college in Sector 125. The accused, four in numbers, came walking and forcefully entered the SUV car.
Before the driver could do anything, the accused overpowered him at a gunpoint and took control of the steering. The miscreants reportedly roamed around the city for more than an hour before dumping the driver at the street in Sector 148 and then went absconding with the car
Along with the SUV, the accused also took a mobile phone and wallet of the driver. Amit Kumar Singh, Station Officer of Sector 39, told PTI that a complaint has been registered against the accused under the various sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC). During the initial investigations, it was revealed that car was wheeling around Bulandshehar. Police is still trying to nab the offenders who are at large.
