Reacting angrily to the rejection of his re-nomination from the Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha seat, Union Minister of State Vijay Sampla on Tuesday said that BJP has committed ‘cow slaughter’.
The BJP instead picked its Phagwara MLA Som Prakash for the Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha seat, denying ticket to Vijay Sampla from there.
The Union minister vented his anger in a series of tweets, hitting out at his party.
“I have no charges of corruption against me, no one can raise a finger on my conduct, I built an airport in the region, introduced trains, built roads. If these are my mistakes, then I will tell my future generations to not commit such mistakes,” he tweeted
“Feel very sad, the BJP has done cow slaughter,” the senior BJP leader tweeted.
